The state government is continuously working to make Delhi the EV capital of India. The EV infrastructure has been greatly expanded. Electronic charging stations will also be installed in densely populated and rural areas of the capital. The Delhi government claims  300 new electronic charging (EV) charging stations  will be installed in the next three months.   Delhi's energy minister, Satender Jain, said  the Delhi government had made a tender for his 500 electric vehicle charging points.                                                                              The tender was issued by Delhi Transco Limited, a government nodal agency for the construction of EV charging infrastructure in Delhi. Satyendar Jain said his 100 public charging stations with 500 charging points will be built in Delhi by his June 27th. An EV owner only has to pay 2 rupees per vehicle at the Delhi government charging station while in other states he is charged 10-15 rupees per vehicle. Bidding criteria were maintained in the form of minimum service charges. With a service charge of minus Rs 3.60 per vehicle, EV users have a great incentive. 

The Incentives By Delhi Doctrine

                                                                                                             What are these incentives ? The Delhi government formulated an electric vehicle policy a year ago. The policy said a public charging station would be built  every three kilometers he said within Delhi. With 500 charging points, he decided to install 100 public charging stations. Public charging stations will be built at 100 larger locations Of these, 71 charging stations are located in metro stations and the rest are located in larger areas. 

                                                                                                 The energy minister said  the bidding process for these larger areas initiated by the government is his PPP mode. There are two parts. The government made the land available. The Delhi government worked with an agency to arrange the land. Apart from that, the transmission infrastructure is provided by the Delhi government. It is the bidder's job  to install charging stations for electric vehicles. Bidding Of The Charging Points

                                                      He said the bidding was done in that the bidder would charge the lowest service fee. Twelve bidders participated, with a bid of minus Rs 3.60. Means the service charge is negative instead of positive. All his 22kw charging stations  in Delhi totaled only Rs.2 each. Usually this fee is  Rs 10, 12 or 15 depending on the city. There is no rate below 10 rupees anywhere. For the first time, electric vehicles will be charged in Delhi for just 2 rupees per vehicle. 

                                                                       Prices are very high elsewhere. Jasmin Shah, deputy chairman of the DDC and chairman of the Delhi government's charging infrastructure working group, said  this was the largest bid of its kind in India and he plans to build his EV charging infrastructure in Delhi in the next three months. said it would double. . He said electric vehicle charging stations will be  available within a three-kilometer radius of  Delhi. Public charging stations will also be set up on the outskirts of Delhi. Charging problems for EV users in capital Delhi will decrease. Delhi's prime minister, Arvind Kejriwal, said the capital city will have 100 electric vehicle charging stations in the next two months. Arwind Kejriwal has taken the initiative for this.

                                               Kejriwal said on Tuesday that he has opened 11  charging stations  and  battery exchange facilities are also  available at these charging stations. “Previously there were separate battery exchange centers and charging stations, but now those facilities are available at one location. There are 73 charging points in these 11 stations. It plans to install 100 charging stations in a month, the Prime Minister said  most of these charging stations will be installed in subway stations so that people can park their cars at the charging stations and travel by subway to their destinations. Kejriwal Is Genius & Dehli E-Vehicle Policy

                                                   He said  the charging stations were built as part of a public-private partnership in which the Delhi government has identified 100 spots. Mr. Kejriwal tweeted: “Today I have opened 11 charging stations in Delhi. They are based on  unique models. Economic. Today, Delhi has provided the world with the cheapest models.” He said that  after charging their vehicles, users could pay 7 Pies per kilometer for two-wheelers, 8 Pies for tricycles and 33 Pies for automobiles. said to use. ,  more economical than petrol, diesel and CNG.                                                                                                           The ambitious Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy, announced in August 2020, aims to increase the share of electric vehicles in total sales to 25% by 2024. Seven DTC bus depots and bus terminals  will become public electric vehicle charging  and battery exchange stations. The decision was made to prepare the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the capital. First, 7 sites were identified based on the evaluation survey of the DTC sites. Transport Minister Kailas Gerot said the charging station could accommodate all types of vehicles in one location.
